Disciple America Bible Reading Plan is designed to help churches encourage their members and attendees to succeed in practicing their home discipleship habits. This Bible plan is supported at ERCC through home discipleship, and the Sunday Worship Service.

 

There is a growing recognition that homes need to be supported by the church in their home discipleship habits. There are many ways a local church can mobilize and motivate people in the Disciple America Bible Reading Plan.

Utilize the Crossword Puzzles—
Crossword puzzles feature four questions each day that connect to the Bible reading plan. A church may ask the questions to start a service, program, or any other activity. Your church might want to hold Bible quizzes or contests based on these questions.  A church is free to use their imaginations in deploying this tool.

Utilize the Coloring Pages—
The coloring pages are great tools to support young children in connecting to the Bible reading. The church may want to display the completed coloring pages on a special wall at church. Your church may even want to hold a coloring page contest.

Encourage the Bible Memory Challenge—
The Bible memory challenge will be fun to implement. Individuals, couples, or families could be asked to recite their memory passage at a worship service. This could also be done at family nights or other venues. A monthly, quarterly or yearly gathering could showcase homes reciting what they memorized.

 

 

 

Scripture Memory— Suggested memory verses are changed every month.
